Today marks the start of another writerly venture: my good friend Brian Williamson and I have launched our writing podcast!
Four episodes are available today, with future episodes to post weekly on Thursdays.
You can also follow along my own experiences on the path to publication, as well as Brian's decision making as he looks forward to moving his clandestine body of work into the sunlight. Some episodes will be debates and discussions between Brian and Rekka, and there will be guest interviews as well.
We cover topics related to both the creative and publishing processes, taking what seems to be a relatively rare perspective that traditional publishers, independent publishers, and indie published authors are not blood enemies.
The publishing game has changed over the past 10 years. The market is proving there’s room for self-published and traditionally published work. It’s no longer about picking a side and holding the line. Nowadays, authors have a lot more choices. And the smart ones are becoming hybrids.
